Written by Wheeler Walker, Jr., with Nicky Slish and Herf Lonkelshtein, "Puddin'" doesn't stray too far from the country provocateur's wheelhouse, featuring raunchy lyrics about a man obsessed with inserting his private parts in the unlikeliest of places. Musically, "Puddin'" is a bluesy country rock track driven forward by a tight rhythm section, brass melodies, and a vibrant guitar solo towards the end. Though it wasn't released as a promotion single from the album, "Puddin'" was singled out by fans as one of the standout tracks from the album.
