"Get it Hot" is a song by AC/DC from their hugely successful Highway to Hell album. It's their only song to mention the mellow music maker Barry Manilow. "Nobody's playing Manilow / Nobody's playing soul / And no one's playing hard to get / Just a good old rock 'n' roll." The lyrics are a celebration of a night of going out on the town with a female partner who's ready for some lusty fun. Bon Scott uses some musical metaphors to set the mood. "Gonna bend you like a G string / Conduct you like a choir." The album was produced by John "Mutt" Lange who was behind the board for countless hit albums including those by Def Leopard, Bryan Adams, and his ex-wife Shania Twain. Highway to Hell was the last AC/DC album to feature Bon Scott who died the following year from alcohol poisoning.
