"Felicità" was an Italian pop favourite in the early 1980s; upon its release in 1982, it rose to the top of the Italian singles chart and graced the European charts a few months later. Sung by Italian-American duo Al Bano and Romina Power, "Felicità" (which translates as "Happiness" in Italian) holds you in a groove, keeping you there using razor-sharp synth sounds, sweeping vocals, orchestral touches, and pulsating electronics courtesy of producer and co-writer Dario Farina. Fun fact: "Felicità" was recorded in the Munich studio of none other than Giorgio Moroder, with Gian Piero Reverberi working as the song's arranger. Al Bano and Romina Power even took "Felicità" to the iconic Sanremo Music Festival, where they placed second in 1982. The then-married couple made their presence known at the Sanremo Music Festival on four more occasions, ultimately finishing first in 1984 with "Ci sarà."
