Sometimes a little encouragement is enough to send your life down a completely unexpected path. Country music singer Alaura Lynne learned this firsthand; after doing karaoke at a party, she got enough positive feedback from fellow attendees that she started to imagine what it would be like to become a country singer. She sought out a voice coach and was soon singing professionally, doing jingles for the radio and performing at churches. After a chance encounter with Grammy-award winning producer Michael D. Clute, Alaura Lynne was soon working on her debut album. "I Ain’t a Bitch" is the debut single from that album, serving at once as an introductory card as well as a mission statement. The song is a fun but defiant tune that addresses the main question that female artists seem to find themselves facing when starting their career, when many people seem especially eager to label them as "difficult to work with." "I Ain’t a Bitch" was written by Bobby Huff, and produced by Michael D. Clute and Bobby Huff. Musically, the song is a catchy, upbeat country-pop tune built on a banjo, stomps, handclaps, and sing-along choruses, establishing Alaura Lynne as a fresh new voice in the country music tradition.
