R&B singer Anita Baker didn't have an easy start in life. She was abandoned by her mother at two and brought up by foster parents who died when she was 12. She started singing in Detroit nightclubs when she was 16. She recorded one record with a funk band, Chapter 8, but after the small label was bought out by Arista, the band was dropped by executives who said their female singer didn't have star potential. Baker's star rose when she began recording as a solo artist. "Sweet Love" is her Grammy-winning smash from her platinum-selling second album Rapture. The talented singer is also a co-writer on the beautiful love song. "Sweet love, hear me callin' out your name / I feel no shame, I'm in love / Sweet love, don't you ever go away / It'll always be this way."
The backing track for Sweet Love" is available with background vocals and as an instrumental on Karaoke Version.

Great Track! My only issue is that raising the key, as with all the tracks, makes the voices (especially the back-up voices) sound artificial, like munchkins from The Wizard of Oz. This distortion usually makes the track with background voices unusable.

I love how this website has very close instrumentation to the original, but with some variations that make it their own.
