She Had Me at Heads Carolina (remix)," Cole Swindell's catchy reinvention of the 1990s country cracker from Jo Dee Messina, "Heads Carolina, Tails California," (the debut 1996 single from her self-titled debut album and sailed into the Top 10 in both the US and Canada) brings the aforementioned country star into the picture for a nostalgia-inducing duet. Palpably inspired by Jo Dee Messina's breakthrough hit, for his version of the love song Cole Swindell joined forces with the original auteur while Thomas Rhett, Ashley Gorley, Jesse Frasure, Mark D. Sanders, and Tim Nichols are also credited. "She Had Me at Heads Carolina (remix)" was released as the third single from Joe Swindell's 2022 album Stereotype, the follow-up to 2018's success story, All of It, and was brought to life at the 2022 CMA Awards ceremony where Cole Swindell was joined by a very special guest – Jo Dee Messina herself.
