A-list actors Amy Adams and May Rudolph are the voices behind "Badder," one of the highlights of Disney's Disenchanted soundtrack. This duet between Amy Adams's wicked Giselle character and Maya Rudolph's equally wicked Malvina Monroe character sees the pair battle it out over who is more evil, bringing in several fairytale tropes and themes into the picture as well as referencing other historically wicked Disney characters. The song was composed by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, who wrote the Disenchanted soundtrack. The 2022 sequel to the 2007 blockbuster Enchanted, Disenchanted is a live-action-meets-animated film directed by Adam Shankman and written by Brigitte Hales, which draws on the story by Richard LaGravenese and is set 15 years after the first movie, where protagonist Giselle is now living the suburb of Monroeville with husband Robert and their teenage daughter.
