Frontman Ronnie Radke famously started laying the groundwork for Falling in Reverse while he was in prison for his alleged involvement in an altercation, unleashing a demo before scoring a gold record with 2011's The Drug in Me Is You, recorded after his release. Over the course of the next decade, the band rose through the ranks of metalcore-tinged US rock to win multiple awards and log a string of best-selling studio albums like 2017's Coming Home. They tried out something new for 2023, overhauling a stone-cold nu-metal classic to offer their own dynamic take on the song. At the turn of the new millennium, Papa Roach went to the top of the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and cracked the Top 10 in several countries with their explosive rap-tinted single "Last Resort." 23 years later, and Falling in Reverse did not disappoint with their equally explosive remake, "Last Resort (reimagined)," bringing a huge pop-punk flavour to the table.
