In March 2023, Fifty Fifty achieved the ultimate accolade, becoming the sixth K-pop group to ever chart on the Billboard Hot 100 with their viral hit "Cupid," which first found fame on TikTok. The candyfloss-sweet pop track was released as the girl group's second single following their November 2022 mini-album The Fifty, which was propelled by the title track "Higher." Mixing elements of synth-pop and disco-pop into a catchy K-pop treat, "Cupid" is a bilingual song about unrequited love song from the perspective of the lovelorn. The hit single has been reenvisioned as an English version (this "Twin version") sung by group members Sio and Aran, and as an instrumental version of the song as well as a Korean version.
