Princess Peach (or Princess Toadstool as she is also affectionately known) is one of the central characters in the enduring Mario franchise, created by Nintendo, and often gets kidnapped and has to be rescued by Mario or Luigi. However, the script is flipped for 2023's The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Princess Peach instead takes on a more empowered role, tasked with training Mario and using her power-ups to fight alongside him in their quest to defeat fire-breathing enemy Bowser, who is keen to capture Peach. Featured on the movie's original soundtrack, which was composed by Brian Tyler, "Peaches" is performed by Jack Black who plays Bowser and sees him proclaim his love for the princess and employ flattery ("Peach, you're so cool) as part of his plan to try and marry her.
