Icelandic blues rockers Kaleo was formed in Mosfellsbær in 2012 by lead vocalist and guitarist Jökull Júlíusson, drummer David Antonsson, bassist Daniel Kristjansson, lead guitarist Rubin Pollock and harmonicist Þorleifur Gaukur Davíðsson and dropped their debut album Kaleo in 2013. Their second album A/B landed in 2016, and the group received a Grammy nomination in 2017 for Best Rock Performance for their song "No Good." The Delta Blues-inspired fiery rocker "Bare Bones" was featured on A/B and mines a vintage sound that rattles through fiendishly evocative lines like, "The devil's going to make me a free man / The devil's going to set me free / Oh, the devil's going to make me a free man / The devil's going to set me free." Released via Elektra Records, several tracks A/B made their way onto the big screen and into gaming, with "Way Down We Go" featured in FIFA 16 and in the trailer for the 2017 film, Logan.
