Hawaiian shirts were practically made for this song. This woody surf-pop 'n' roller from Roy Orbison remains one of his greatest, lesser-known gems. ”Leah" – released as the B-side to 1962 single, "Working for the Man" and sandwiched between 1961's "Crying" and 1963's "In Dreams" – takes a deep dive into crystal-blue waters, with Rob Orbison employing a diving metaphor to express his love for the titular heroine. "I gotta go deep and find the ones just right / I'll bet my Leah will be surprised tonight / I'll place the pearls around the only girl for me / Leah," he sings, adding: "But something's wrong / I cannot move around / My leg is caught / It's pulling me down / But I'll keep my hands shut tight for if they find me." The late crooner went to Number 33 with "Working for the Man" / "Leah," which was included on 1964 album More of Roy Orbison's Greatest Hits, as well as topping the charts in Australia.
