The Bellamy Brothers honor the legends of Country music with No Country Music for Old Men featuring Country music great John Anderson. Putting their spin on the title of the Coen Brothers’ film No Country for Old Men, the brothers reminisce about classic Country songs and artists like Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, and Merle Haggard. They also have some things to say about the current state of Country music. “There ain't no Country music for old men/ All of the good ones have died or just packed it in/ Now there's posers and losers and would-be outlaws who only know how to pretend.” David Bellamy wrote the song the night he heard Kenny Rogers had passed. As he was working on the lyric he kept hearing John Anderson’s distinctive vocal timbre singing some of the lines in his head so he ended up asking his long-time friend to sing on the record.  The backing track for No Country Music for Old Men is available with background vocals and as an instrumental on Karaoke Version.
