"Want You Bad" is a song by California-based punk rock band The Offspring. It was released as the second single from their sixth studio album, 2000's Conspiracy of One. Written by lead singer and guitarist Dexter Holland and produced by Brendan O'Brien, "Want You Bad" hit retail on December 23, 2000, and climbed to Number 10 on the Billboard US Alternative Airplay chart shortly after. It also reached Number 15 in the UK, where it achieved Silver-level sales. According to Dexter Holland, the "Want You Bad" in the title doesn't mean "wanting someone badly," but rather reflects the narrator's desire to make his girlfriend do more sexually adventurous things. Apart from being included in the band's Greatest Hits collection (2005), "Want You Bad" was featured extensively in popular culture in feature films like Tomcats (2001) and American Pie 2 (2001), as well as in the video game Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller.
