A country trio comprising Irish country legends Jimmy Buckley, Robert Mizzell, and Patrick Feeney, The Three Amigos debuted in 2008 with their self-titled album and followed it with Radio Pictures in 2011 and the On the Road Again collection in 2015, expanding their fanbase at every stage. For this 2022 "King of the Road Medley" they each take turns at the wheel to put a new twist on a trio of country crowd-pleasers: "King of the Road"—a portrait of a wayward traveller written by country singer Roger Miller and first recorded in November 1964—"Little Ole Wine Drinker"—a 1960s country-pop song penned by Hank Mills and Dick Jennings—and popular standard "Me & Singing the Blues." The "King of the Road Medley" was included on The Three Amigos' 2022 album Gold, which also packed in tracks including "Let Your Love Flow" and "Hand Me Down My Bible" as well as a "Garth Brooks Medley" and "Don Gibson Medley."
