Indie-folk bop "Riptide" which was voted Number 1 on Australia's 2013 Triple J Hottest 100, was the first single from the Australian singer and songwriter's debut EP God Loves You When You’re Dancing (2013), which peaked at 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and became one of Vance Joy's biggest success stories. In May 2015, "Riptide" was crowned the longest-charting song in ARIA Chart history, having stuck around in the top 100 for over 120 weeks.
