"Stone" is a song by the Texas-based country rock band Whiskey Myers. Although the band is known for a heavier sound, "Stone" takes a heavy subject and mixes it with a more laid-back musical approach. The song deals with the heartache and misery of not being able to find someone to love. Whiskey Myers has been steadily growing their devoted fan base since they released their first album in 2008. The band got a big break in 2019 when their music was used on four episodes of the hugely popular Kevin Costner Paramount Network series Yellowstone. The band was also featured performing in a bar on the season finale. That exposure took their three available albums into the top 10 on iTunes. Their album Mud hit #1 and the single "Stone" reached #9.
