Billy Joel released his now-classic single "Uptown Girl" on August 8, 1983, as part of his ninth studio album, An Innocent Man. Written by Billy Joel and produced by Phil Ramone, the song was inspired by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and its narrative revolves around a working-class 'downtown man' trying to win over a wealthy 'uptown girl,' a theme portrayed humorously in the song's popular music video featuring Billy Joel as a mechanic. Originally inspired by his relationship with Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson, the singer-songwriter would later change muses after he started dating model Christine Brinkley, who also stars in the video. Stylistically, "Uptown Girl" is an irresistible blend of doo-wop, pop, and soul music styles that dominated the airwaves throughout the 1960s. Shortly after its release, "Uptown Girl" became a global hit, reaching number 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and topping the UK Singles Chart.

The background vocals are set perfectly with reverb so your background singers can join in on them and still sound full. Rich quality of song version too.

The offer of a free improved version is an excellent touch. The drums are much more live sounding and the missing background vocals are much appreciated. All in all and excellent job and service. Thank you.
