"Neon Moon" is a #1 Billboard Hot Country song by Brooks & Dunn from their 1991 debut studio album Brand New Man. The album sold over six million copies and produced three more songs that hit #1, "Boot Scootin' Boogie,” "Brand New Man," and "My Next Broken Heart.” Both Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn had pursued solo careers and written for other artists. It wasn't until after music executive Tim Dubois suggested they become a duo that they found the success that had eluded them. Dunn wrote "Neon Moon" and sings "Now if you lose your one and only / There's always room here for the lonely / To watch your broken dreams / Dance in and out of the beams / Of a neon moon."  The neon moon refers to the light coming from the neon sign at a bar.
