"I,2, Many" is a song from Luke Combs' 2019 album What You See Is What You Get, but it sounds like it could have been a hit in the 90s. So getting the guys from Brooks & Dunn involved was a decision made in honky tonk heaven. Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn were happy to get on board. The three had previously worked together when Combs sang a cover of their hit "Brand New Man" for the Brooks & Dunn Reboot album. "Brooks & Dunn's music absolutely had a tremendous impact on me. To me, they invented that foot-stomping, driving sound," said the young artist. Combs had come up wth the clever countdown chorus in 2015 but couldn't think of any verses. He finally asked friends Dan Isbell and Drew Parker to help him finish it several years later. "At quarter to 12, man I've done had plenty / The countdown's on when the first beer hits me / Five, four, three, two, one / Too many." The backing track for "1,2, Many" is available with background vocals or as an instrumental on Karaoke Version.
