Irish country star Johnny Brady knows how to start a party. Here, he dons his finest blue suede shoes for "Rock 'n' Hop Medley," a joy-beckoning race through some of the best-known rock 'n' rollers from the archives. "Rock Around the Clock,"—famously captured on wax by Bill Haley & His Comets in 1954—Elvis Presley's 1957 theme for the film of the same name, "Jailhouse Rock," and Eddie Cochran and Jerry Capehart's 1958 single "C'mon Everybody" are all chosen to light up the first part of the medley. They're followed by The Everly Brothers' chart-topper "Wake Up Little Susie," Bobby Freeman's 1958 rock 'n' roll mainstay "Do You Want to Dance," "Shake, Rattle and Roll," written by in Jesse Stone, and last, but certainly not least: "Tutti Frutti," penned, of course, by Little Richard and Dorothy LaBostrie in 1955. Johnny Brady included "Rock 'n' Hop Medley" on his aptly titled 2014 album Dance With Me.
