"Wilder Days" is a song by Morgan Wade from her album Reckless. The Virginia native assembled her first band from musicians she found from an ad she placed on Craigslist when she was 19. She had been writing songs for as long as she could remember but the stress of touring and the availability of alcohol resulted in Wade making the decision to get sober. "Wilder Days" is a song about a free spirited young woman wishing she knew her older boyfriend when he was a little wild. "Who were you before I knew your name / Were you drunk at midnight waiting for the train / You could have been anyone back then / Just another kid reaching for the wind." While drinking can still be found in her songwriting, she says when she's in the gym at 6AM and all the guys in her band have hangovers, she's reminded she made the right decision.
