"Your Smile" is a song by American R&B duo René & Angela, released as the third single from their 1985 fourth and final album, Street Called Desire. Starting their career in 1977, producers René Moore and Angela Winbush cut out three well-received albums for Capitol—René & Angela (1980), Wall to Wall (1981), and Rise (1983)—before switching to Mercury Records and releasing their final LP in 1985. Street Called Desire was by far their most successful studio effort, largely thanks to hit singles such as "Save Your Love (For #1)," "I'll Be Good," and "Your Smile." Officially released on February 5, 1986, the latter is a smooth R&B jam inspired by Angela Winbush's grandmother. It was written and produced by René Moore and Angela Winbush, with additional production by Bruce Swedien and Bobby Watson. "Your Smile" was the duo's second Number 1 hit on Billboard's R&B chart and reached Number 62 on the Billboard Hot 100. Despite their newfound success, inner tensions within the group led to their definitive dissolution in 1986.
