Tom Ball began his journey into the spotlight on the 2022 series of Britain's Got Talent before heading across the pond and making a name for himself on America's Got Talent: All Stars. As a finalist, he performed this 1963 ballad, "I (Who Have Nothing)," popularised by Tom Jones in 1970 who recorded the definitive belter for American audiences, and wowed the world with his pitch-perfect, commanding vocal range, hitting all the earth-shattering high notes. "I (Who Have Nothing)" (sometimes written as "I Who Have Nothing") is an English language interpretation of the Italian song "Uno dei Tanti" with music originally composed by Carlo Donida and lyrics by Giulio "Mogol" Rapetti. Shirley Bassey and Status Quo also put their stamp on the song in 1963 and 1966, respectively. Tom Ball was subsequently signed to the Westway Music label and released his debut album Curtain Callin November 2023.
